Walkies Pet Sitting has been Winnipeg’s most reliable and trusted pet sitting and dog walking service for more than 20 years. Back then it was called JB Pet Sitting. While the name has changed, we’re still the same caring pet sitters providing loving care when you’re not there.

The business was re-branded as Walkies Pet Sitting when Carolyn Parberry acquired JB Pet Sitting. For six years, Walkies continued to provide reliable care for cats, small animals and dogs including in-home sitting, dog walking, and house sitting.

When Carolyn retired from the business at the start of the pandemic, long-time client Ben Benton took over and continued to incubate this vital and reliable community service until things began to recover in spring of 2021.

Today, Ben and his team offer a range of customizable services for your dogs, cats and small animals including birds, rabbits, reptiles, you name it.

Our pet sitters are all pet owners, many having rescued their fur babies from the many wonderful no-kill shelters in the city. We do it because we genuinely love animals.

Every sitter has a clean police record check and vulnerable sectors check. We are bonded and insured and you can rest assured that with our years of experience in pet care, your pet pals will be treated with love and respect–just as if they were our own.

Whether you need weekly visits for dog walking, occasional walking or pet sitting, or a little help with the tougher tasks of pet care like bad weather walking, food and supplies delivery, litter box cleaning, poop scoop service or transport for your beloved pet to and from appointments, we can customize a plan based on your needs.
